Luke will teach you the fundamentals that you need in order to impress those who you perform to; ranging from self-working magic, memory techniques, gimmicks, and other principles which are easily executed genuinely impressive when performed.
Some of these fundamentals are as old as time, and some have been developed to perfection by Luke himself.

The magic that you will be exclusively card magic, as this is Luke's area of expertise. In fact, a deck of cards one of the two objects that Luke uses every day (the other one being his phone).

Learning magic with Luke, everything is in one place; you will not have to trawl across the internet to find a particular tutorial that you want. Luke will be your reference point to learn new things and he will know what to teach you and how to teach it to you.

In-person sessions
There are many things in the world of magic that are not available to find on the internet. Most of it is hidden away in books written decades ago, and some is even unpublished. Luke has done the hard work of reading magic books and extracted the best of the best magic from them. Luke also will teach you methods that he has come up with himself, which can't be learnt anywhere else.
There is a big difference in what you can learn from an online video, and what you can learn from a person in the same room as you, who understands what you are finding tricky, who can answer your specific questions, and who isn't just after likes and comments on social media. This can be said for anything, not just magic.
Experience and skill
Most of those who teach magic on YouTube do not have the experience of performing to know the difference of performing something in front of a mirror, and in front of an audience. They don't explain what will not work in front of people, and too often, they do not know how to present magic; presentation is important and a key skill.

PLEASE NOTE: Luke reserves authority to deny teaching anybody at any time, due to concerns of secrets of magic being kept.
Luke is not available to teach anybody below the age of 14.

PRICES:
'Magic at the Basics' is essentially an introduction to magic. It is the lowest level of the 3 levels of magic that Luke teaches.
For this reason, the price is £15 per session, with a minimum of two sessions.
(Extra costs may be applied for any travel costs incurred by Luke).
​
Sessions last one hour each.
